    • The Association was formed as a statutory organization under Article 50 of the Framework Act on the Construction Industry.

    October 6, 1945 Chosun Civil Engineering & Building Association was established ( a voluntary organization )
    May 1, 1947 Chosun Civil & Architectural Engineering Association was formally registered
    ( the founding day for the association )
    September 5, 1948 Renamed as Korea Civil Engineering and Building Association
    June 22,1959 Korean Construction Industry Association was established as a Statutory body
    February 19, 1962 Renamed as the Construction Association of Korea
